Artist's Comments
This was a class assignment for Advertising Illustration, obviously for a campaign selling jeans. I wanted to use a concept other than hot chicks, rebellious youth or some urban-inspired theme...
so I pulled this composition from one of my sketchbooks, and ended up taking it to finish. The inking was done in illustrator, with coloring in Photoshop. I got a little custom-brush crazy on this one, but I think it helps hold up the flat color. It could still use some work, but overall I was pretty satisfied. |
